Hi Parents!
We had a great time at the Desert Museum! Thank you to the parents who went and volunteered for the day! We couldn’t do it without you.
Here are the spelling words for the upcoming week:
Focus is on words with suffixes –ful & -ly
Group 1: careful, gladly, nicely painful, playful, quickly, sadly, slowly, useful, wonderful
Group 2: across, because, dance, only, opened, shoes, told, heart, shiny, waltz
Group 3: discover, resident, admire, substantial, dwell, welcome, sadness, tremendous, gargoyle, tuxedo
Other reminders for the week:
Monday is library day; please put library books in backpacks
Sign and return Blue Behavior Folders; a few kiddos forgot to take them due to the Field Trip and leaving early.
A separate email went home with a Sign-Up Genius for the First Grade “Summer Fun Basket” which will be part of the silent auction during Fun Fest 2015.
Thank you for all of the snacks that have been donated! I appreciate all of the support you give our class.
